Goryeo Celadon Sutra Case with Pagoda Design

This is a celadon sutra case fired during the mid-Goryeo period.
The entire piece is shaped like a four-tiered pagoda, featuring sharply defined details such as doors, windows, and roofs.
The sorin (finial) at the top is also intricately crafted.
It is hollow inside, designed to hold a rolled sutra scroll.
The base is unglazed, showing firing marks, and features a circular opening.
The glaze covering the surface has a strong green hue, creating beautiful gradations of color where it pools around the architectural angles and pillars.
The thick, glassy glaze exhibits distinct crackle-glaze patterns, giving the piece a luminous quality.
Sutra case of this type are believed not to have been burial goods, but rather vessels used to enshrine sutras during religious rituals.

There is no conspicuous flaws. It has good luster throughout and is in good condition.
