Qing Dynasty Ge ware Celadon Beans pod shaped Basin

This is a Ge-ware-glazed Basin fired in a Jingdezhen kiln during the Qing dynasty.
Shaped like a bean pod, it represents prosperity of descendants, a good harvest, and protection from evil in China.
The pointed tip of the pod and the large bulging bean are thought to represent a broad bean.
The overall shape is rounded and soft, and feels very pleasant to the touch.
A distinctive feature of Ge kilns is the groove in the center of the inner base, which bulges upward in the middle.
It is said that during the Qing dynasty, Jingdezhen praised the Five Great Kilns of the Song dynasty and officially imitated their ceramics.
The inscription "奉化" inside the base was engraved on porcelain associated with the imperial court of the Northern Song and Southern Song dynasties, indicating that this piece was made in close imitation of the Ge ware of the Northern Song dynasty.
The entire piece is coated with a Ge glaze, modeled after the Song Dynasty Ge ware, giving it a soft, pale green color.
Ge ware glaze is based on celadon glaze, from which the components that produce a verdigris color are removed, resulting in a white glaze.
Some components that produce a verdigris color remain, resulting in a unique pale green glaze.
The entire piece is covered in fine crackle glaze.
Powdered red lipstick has been rubbed into the crackle glaze.
This is a technique unique to Ge ware.
The foot is unglazed, but is glazed all the way to the inside of the foot.
The foot and inscription are probably colored with iron pigment.
Qing Dynasty Ge ware pieces have been increasingly highly regarded in recent years, and this extremely rare bean-shaped piece is a particularly rare find.

There is no conspicuous flaws. It has good luster throughout and is in good condition.
