Goryeo Celadon Bottle with Incised Flower Design

This bottle was fired at the end of the Goryeo period.
It has a spout at the body and a narrow, curved neck with a brim that tapers at the end.
It was a water bottle that was poured into the shoulder and drunk little by little from the tip.
It later came to be used as one of the 18 tools a monk should have, and as a vessel to hold pure water and place in front of the Buddha.
During the Goryeo period, it was used on a daily basis as a water container.
As it was made at the end of the Goryeo period, it is made using methods similar to those used for Buncheong ware, and the clay is slightly rough and the glaze is dark, giving it a deep flavor with its unevenness.
A floral design is painted in iron with flowing brushstrokes in the center of the body.
Compared to the mid-Goryeo period, it is more austere and uneven, but the light bronze-like flavor creates a nice atmosphere.

There is a crack in the middle of the mouth that has been repaired, and the glaze has peeled off. There is a chipped glaze at the base of the shoulder injection port.Although the surface is slightly aged, It has a nice texture that makes you feel the passage of time.
