Made from smooth white clay, it has a shallow bowl shape with a curved rim.
There is a slight step at the inside and, as is typical of late items, it is well-balanced and without any distortion.
A thick layer of bluish white glaze is applied from the sides of the foot upwards, and the thickness of the glaze creates a beautiful landscape.
It has characteristics of the Katade Type, such as stone marks and exposed soil at the bottom.
A small, refreshing tea bowl that is recommended for use in summer tea ceremonies.
There is a small aged deterioration on the surface, but overall it is luster and in good condition.Cracks on the inside and outside of the rim have been repaired with gold. The gold repairs are in roughly the same position inside and outside.
