Celadon Censer made in the Southern Song Dynasty Guan ware.
It has a high bottom, a swollen body with a swollen underside, and the edges of the mouth are slightly widened and angular.
You can only feel it by touching it with your hands, but there is a slight step between the shoulder and the mouth.
The body has two simplified fish handles, and this shape became popular during the Song Dynasty and was also introduced to Japan.
It is made of thick black clay unique to Southern Song Guan kilns, and you can feel its weight when you hold it in your hand.
The entire piece is covered with a gray-blue celadon glaze, with large crackle-glazed on the surface, a glaze unique to Southern Song Guan ware.
Although the bottom is thin at about 1.5mm, there are no scratches and it is extremely comfortable to touch with your fingers.
Fish handles censer are very popular celadon pieces from the Southern Song Dynasty, but they are rare and in good condition.
Comes with a wooden storage box.There is no conspicuous flaws.There are some aged deterioration on the whole surface, but there is luster.There are scratches on the front face and waist.
