Joseon Dynasty Yellow Irabo Tea Bowl

A Yellow Irabo tea bowl made in the middle to late Joseon Dynasty.
Iraho tea bowls are considered to be a type of Goryeo tea bowls, and are said to have been made by order from Japan during the Edo period.
The shape is bowl-shaped, the mouth is slightly curved, and there are traces of overlapping firing on the front face.
The coarse brown clay is coated with Iraho glaze, which has a yellow color and is mainly made of wood ash, above the waist level.
Depending on the thickness of the glaze, the thicker parts of the glaze turn yellow, and the thinner parts show the base material and turn brown, creating an interesting mottled appearance.
The surface is rough, typical of Irabo tea bowl, and the texture is very unique, making it feel good in the hand.
There are two gold repairs on the rim of the rim, but the color blends well with the glaze color and there is no discomfort.
The part that looks like a chip on the edge of the mouth is the original shape.
There are pebbles in the soil that were popped during firing, creating a very nice scenery when combined with the glaze tone of Yellow Irabo.

It is in good condition with a moist luster overall.
