Qing Dynasty Red Glaze Bronzeware-Shaped Bottle
Qing Dynasty Red Glaze Bronzeware-Shaped Bottle
Period : Qing Dynasty,China(1616 - 1912) / 17-18C
Size : H19.1cm W7.7cm
This is a red glaze bottle made in the Qing Dynasty.
Its shape imitates that of ancient bronze vessels, and was used as a drinking vessel for rituals.
It has a widening bottom, a swollen body, and a wide, trumpet-like mouth.
The red glaze applied to the entire bottle except for the inside is close to vermilion, giving it a calm and pleasant atmosphere without being too flashy.
It is a characteristic feature of this era that only the bottom is coated with white glaze, and the glaze is separated.
Although red glaze ceramics themselves are relatively new, they have an elegance that comes from improved technology.
Recommended for vases.
There is no conspicuous flaws.Although the surface is slightly aged, it has a good luster.
