Period : Goryeo Dynasty,Korea(918 - 1392) / 12-13C
Size : H5.5cm W14.5cm
This is a celadon tea bowl made in the Goryeo period.
It has a wide, straight shape that extends from the high ground to the rim.
The inner bottom is round and protruding, making you want to touch it with your hand.
The pattern is applied in black and white inlaid so as to completely cover the surface of the vessel.
The inside has lotus petals and flower patterns, and inside is a cloud dragon drawn as if swimming in the sky.
The outside has the same lotus petal pattern and flower pattern, and inside is a chrysanthemum pattern and an arabesque pattern.
Both patterns are auspicious symbols and were probably used by noble people.
The glaze color is a clear gray-blue-green characteristic of jade-colored celadon, giving it an elegant finish.
There is what looks like a crack on the rim, but it is a scratch from firing and is filled with glaze. It has a moist and sufficient luster.
