Goryeo Rice-colored Celadon Cylindrical Tea Bowl with Inlaid Chrysanthemum Design

This is a celadon tea bowl made during the Goryeo period.
It is an item called "rice-colored celadon'' in which the glaze of the celadon has a yellow color due to the fact that it was fired with a slight oxidation effect.
It has a cylindrical shape similar to a Japanese teacup, with the center of the body bulging out slightly.
It is thought that originally in Korea, it was a bowl for drinking medicinal springs.
During the Muromachi period in Japan, cylindrical bowls were used in tea rooms during the winter because their narrow mouths made it difficult for heat to escape.
The body is inlaid with black and white chrysanthemum patterns in three places surrounded by circles, and even the leaves are clearly drawn.
Placing them in odd numbers is a design unique to the Korean Peninsula.
The rim of the mouth is decorated with thunder patterns, the lower part is decorated with lotus petal patterns, and the gap in the body is filled with arabesque patterns.
Because it is a dark rice-colored celadon, the black and white inlay stands out as a contrast, making it a very rare celadon inlaid.

There is no conspicuous flaws.It has good luster throughout and is in good condition.
