A celadon bottle made in the Southern Song official kiln.
The bottom is small and bulges out slightly from the waist, and the body is curved and shaped like a trumpet that spreads toward the mouth.
This shape was originally found in bronze ware used for flower vase in ancient China.
The installation surface of the bottom is thin, typical of a Guan ware, and five nail marks remain in the bottom.
It is unusual to use supporting nails in the Guan ware, where the installation surface is exposed, and this is thought to be a remnant of the firing technique used before the official kiln in the Southern Song dynasty.
A thick gray-green-blue glaze is applied to the entire piece, giving it a beautiful graininess and large penetration.
The container is thick enough to the mouth, and it is a high quality item that is practical as a tool.

There is no conspicuous flaws. It has good luster throughout and is in good condition.
