Size : H13.4cm W15.9cm
Water pitcher of celadon porcelain made in the Yuezhou kiln in the late Northern Song dynasty.
It has a shape of a bird that looks like a goose, with a flat and short beak and a tail up.
There is a water inlet on the top of the body, and the beak is the spout.
The large fur on the head, chest, wings, and tail is engraved with a pattern, and the overall fine plumage is drawn with an intaglio.
The fine fur is elaborately attached diagonally to the wings and large streaks of the tail.
The eyes are three-layered and three-dimensional, giving a realistic expression.
A large nail mark is left on the bottom, and it retains the characteristics of the late Yuezhou kiln in the Northern Song dynasty.
There is no conspicuous flaws. There is aged deterioration on the entire surface, but there is some luster.
