Period : Qing Dynasty,China(1616 - 1912) / 17-18C
Size : H4cm W14cm
Rice-colored celadon tea bowl made in the Jingdezhen area during the Qing dynasty.
It is a slightly shallow vessel with a wide rim and a flower-shaped rim.
The flowers on the rim of the bowl are twisted and connected to the bottom.
Both inside and outside, the petals are three-dimensional and the shadows are very impressive.
The small nail mark on the bottom is influenced by the Ru ware and is very elaborate.
This tea bowl is made in a celadon modeled after the celadon porcelain of the Ru ware in the Northern Song Dynasty.
Reduction firing produces a devitrifying creamy light blue color, but oxidation firing turns it into a yellow rice-celadon color.
Compared to the rice-colored celadon of the Southern Song, the color is milky white, which is unique to the Qing Dynasty.
Ru ware-like glaze has been reproduced mainly in Jingdezhen, respecting the celadon of Ru ware, which is one of the five famous kilns of the Northern Song Dynasty.
The rim is thin and delicate, the petals are evenly twisted, and the glaze is evenly applied.
It is a very complete tea bowl.
There is no conspicuous flaws. It has good luster throughout and is in good condition.
