Southern Song Dynasty Guan ware Celadon Jade Object Vase

A celadon porcelain bottle made in a government kiln during the Southern Song dynasty.
The outer shape is a square prism, and the four corners are carved with embossed patterns, and the long axis has a circular opening.
This kind of shape was originally stone ware made by carving stone, and various lengths such as bottles, jars, and washers were made.
It is said that the cylindrical hole symbolizes the heavens and the square outer circumference symbolizes the earth, symbolizing the union of heaven and earth.
From ancient China, it is believed to have been used for rituals and ceremonies such as sacrifices and funerals.
This item is slightly taller and has a slightly wider mouth, so it is thought that it was used as a vase.
During the Southern Song Dynasty, official kilns produced a large number of pottery imitating ancient Chinese jade and bronze ware, which influenced the longquan kilns.
The glaze is applied to the inside of the bottle on the black clay that contains a lot of iron, which is typical of Guan ware.
The greenish-blue glaze tends to oxidize around the bottom, giving it a rice-yellow color.

There is no conspicuous flaws.Although the surface is slightly aged, it has a good luster.
