Period : Southern Song dynasty,China(1127 - 1279) / 13C
Size : H16.6cm W10.1cm
A celadon vase made in the Longquan kiln in the Southern Song dynasty.
The gourd bottle is a type of vessel commonly seen in the Song dynasty.
There are eight flower openings connected from the unevenness of the body, and the bottom is also shaped like a flower.
The shape seen from above is not a perfect circle but an ellipse.
This type of pottery was produced in both the Southern and Northern kilns of the Song dynasty, and later in the Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties.
The vessel body is rather thick and is thought to have been made at the Longquan, and is covered with a pale, clear blue-green celadon glaze from the Southern Song dynasty Longquan.
There is no conspicuous flaws.Although the surface is slightly aged, it has a luster.
