A celadon lobed cup and stand made in the Yue ware during the Northern Song dynasty.
During the tea drinking and drinking culture that was popular in the Northern Song dynasty, many tea bowls and saucers like this one were made and used by high-ranking people such as aristocrats and government officials.
This work is a representative vessel shape, and the rim is shallow and the flower shaped mouth is attached.
Celadon porcelain from the Yue ware from the Tang dynasty onwards has an olive-colored glaze, with a particularly strong yellow tint, and is thought to have been produced in the early Northern Song dynasty.
The refined and elegant celadon glaze of the Yue ware is called the “hisoku” and is still used as a dyeing color even today.
There is one chip on the rim of the saucers. There is a crack around the hole at the bottom of Saucers. Aged deterioration has appeared on the surface as a whole, and there is some soil adhesion.
