Qing Dynasty White porcelain Jarlet with Chrysanthemum Design
Qing Dynasty White porcelain Jarlet with Chrysanthemum Design
Period : Qing Dynasty,China(1616 - 1912) / 17C
Size : H4.2cm W10.1cm
A white porcelain Jarlet made in the Qing dynasty.
Although it is a Jarlet, it is low in height and has an oval body with a wide mouth.
A chrysanthemum pattern is carved into the prospect.
Each petal and even the grain that looks like a stamen are sculpted three-dimensionally.
The rim, torso, and base of the vessel are well-proportioned, demonstrating the high quality of Qing dynasty ceramics.
The beautiful white clay is covered with a slightly yellowish white porcelain glaze, and the rounded shape gives it a warm impression.
Because of the chrysanthemum pattern, it is thought that it was a purveyor to the imperial court.
There is no conspicuous flaws.Although the surface is slightly aged, it has a good luster.
