This is a white porcelain jar that was made in a folk kiln in the Yuan dynasty.Sometsuke porcelain was perfected in Jingdezhen at the end of the Yuan dynasty, and many were made mainly in that kiln.
The blue and white of the Yuan dynasty is characterized by its generous painting, thick lines, and the fact that it fills the entire surface of the vessel.The petals and phoenix are drawn powerfully with a slightly blackish blue cobalt.It is a slightly small jar with a rounded body and a lid. There is a decoration on the side of the lid.
There are small chips on the back of the lid.It has good gloss throughout and is in good condition.
