A celadon Covered Box made in the late Goryeo period.
Covered boxes were used to store cosmetics, wax, and herbs.
The sides are vertical and the body is a bulging mountain-like body facing the top.
The upper surface is inlaid with chrysanthemums, and the petals are colored red with cinnabar, which is rare.
The chrysanthemum pattern is surrounded by a lotus petal design, and the sides are inlaid with a thunder pattern.
A clear gray-blue-green celadon glaze is applied thickly, and the rim of the top surface is filled with glaze and draws a greenish-blue circle.
Goryeo celadon was influenced by the Yue ware and began to be produced around the 10th century.
In the 12th century, jade-colored celadon was born, and it was highly evaluated in the Song dynasty of China as the "Hisoku of Goryeo."

There is a small aged deterioration on the surface, but overall it is luster and in good condition.
