A white porcelain bottle made in an official kiln during the Joseon Dynasty. The vessel has a thick base and weighs a substantial 359g.
The pottery is made of thick clay, and has a large, rounded body and a thin neck extending upwards from the shoulder.
Reddish flower patterns are painted on the body in two places using pigments containing iron.
The grass is drawn with quick brush strokes, and the color is applied to the petals in a strong and restrained manner.
As a result, it is a beautiful pattern that feels depth like ink painting.
A thick glossy white porcelain glaze is applied to the whole, and the grayish-white glaze harmonizes with the painting, giving a very simple beauty.
There is no conspicuous flaws. There are crackle-glazed on the shoulders and bottom side.It has good luster throughout and is in good condition.
